While we’re on a road trip in our VW Eurovan camper right now (Nothing says “road trip” to us like a Chick-O-Stick. But we digress…) we are guest bloggers over at our friend Sara’s blog, Go Gingham! We’re talking about camping as a budget travel option.
Our post details some of the methods of our madness for camping, which is what we’ll be doing along the way this trip. Although we know you all don’t have a Eurovan (although you may wish you did because they are pretty cool), you can still make camping — or simply traveling — an easier undertaking.

A sweet campsite in Joshua Tree National Park
Our road trip this year is a long one – we’ll be gone three weeks and we’re heading out to Illinois to help Jeff’s folks who are moving. Along the way, we’re planning to visit three new National Parks: Badlands, Theodore Roosevelt, and Wind Cave. If you’d like to follow our adventure, like our Facebook page or follow us on Twitter. We’ll be posting updates and pictures along the way in those places.
In the meantime, make your way over to Sara’s blog and check out our post!
What was your favorite road trip? Leave us a comment, and enjoy your week or your weekend!
